When subsidizing switches from oil to renewables (this is what stop oil wants) there is no gradual transition because oil will be too expensive. If that happens I can't afford heating or transportation unless I replace those with electric, which I can't afford either.
If EU manufacturers didn't charge 35k for a car that barely fits 3 people, we wouldn't need to turn to these chinese cars.

Also the amount of legacy operating system to keep hardware like scanners running is a lot. Medical devices are delivered with a workstation that never updates. It is hard to justify buying a new mri of 1.5 million when the accompanied workstation is outdated.
Sure you can vlan and firewall the hell out of it. But they still have a large attack surface.
