Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a bidet attachment that fits my toilet. When we move, I'm getting one for sure but I'll still use toilet roll at times too

That being said, I'm not sure the cost-benefit really fits here. The initial cost (£100-500, depending on quality and type) plus fitting (£100-200 depending on plumbers in your area) would take about 10 years to break even when spending £40 on toilet roll per year. And by then, I'm sure I would have moved house or the bidet would have broken or something

I often see people say to buy the expensive toilet roll but I always go for the low end of the midrange rolls. I don't need 4ply, scented, quilted shit, I just need two pieces of paper stuck together.

There is a balance, you don't want to get the 1ply stuff you'd find in a stingy office. But just look at the label and price-per-sheet

(If you can afford it, buy a year's supply in bulk from the company)

Huh, I guess it just shows how different experiences can really shape perspective

Yes, nothing, 1(+1 on the way), wrong.

This is the difference between Reddit and Lemmy: any comment thread on Reddit ultimately has to end with 10 layers of argument but Lemmy comments are 2-3 moderately terse statements before polite agreement.

Not necessarily. Speach and language develops at different rates in kids and I can totally see a moderately advanced two year old using a complete simple sentence.

I just want you to be aware that you might not get the response that you're hoping for/secretly wish you'd get. I sent a letter like this once to my dad and brother and they both laughed and threw it back in my face; I sort of expected it but I'd thought that my mum would be bemused but supportive. She wasn't.

Good luck anyway, I hope you get the closure you need!

Ahh, got you now, sorry for the confusion. I think Prince Nonce didn't have the advanced notice (or the social equity (he was already disliked before this came out)) to buy his way out. Whereas people being announced this week have had months of advanced notice

Sorry, I drop the /s

Haha, yeah. Too much representation, boo-hoo, why don't I see enough white people on tv?
