While this is true. Anything less than an objectively bad framing on Trump will be just more fluffing of him. He doesn't care if coverage is slightly negative as long as he's being covered. If they don't outright call him a grifter liar and a monster. They will have failed still.

Actually yes. They want to privatize it so that they can make money on it. Failure is the goal.

This is more or less the right answer. Electronics have active components. This is built completely off of passive components. Electromechanical would be a good description of it. Though the speed control isn't electro mechanical. Physics and the Reed switch does set an upper limit of how fast it can trigger. But Tom just has a button that he holds. When button is down motor accelerates when button is not down motor is idle. So it's more of a Tom speed controller.

Yes was going to say it would have had to have been designed by generative AI to have five fingers and a thumb. LOL

Money is power. Power corrupts. No exceptions. They get into the situation because they can no longer identify and understand their fellow man. There are no good billionaires. There aren't any any good millionaires. And we should all do them a favor. And never allow them to achieve that status of hoarding.

Yep, you can have your own personal armory. You'll be limited by what you can hold, and more importantly wield. Worse what was won by a small group of armed insurgents. Can be lost just as easily.

If you have the people on your side, you may never have to fire a shot. And it will be generations before what was gained is forgotten and becomes vulnerable again. If they're constantly having to look over their shoulders. Wondering if that janitor will come for them. If they can trust the people that cook and bring their food. It simply will not be worth it to them.

They're sociopaths. They'll take advantage of anything society allows them to. It's also why they want AI and robots so badly. Then they won't need societies permission anymore.

Perhaps. Though it still hilariously transparent how many act like the Democrats are the problem and not the actual fascists. Democrats certainly aren't the solution. They're not even remotely the biggest threat either. One of these days after it's far too late you all will get your priorities straight eventually. I mean even stalling eventually stood with the United States against his former Ally against Poland.

Things will continue to get worse till the voting populace finds solidarity. Fascists love it when we are divided. And many so-called leftists act like they are God's gift if you politics despite having nothing to show for it. I hope you all have a chance to explain the people you failed. How it was important for you to maintain your ideological Purity than actually do anything to help anyone.

Yep. If you have nine tankies sitting at a table and a person joins them you have 10 tankies sitting at the table. It works the same as it does for fascists.

It's like saying that there we're good people in Nazi germany. Therefore we should have tolerated Hitler. Why?

Pumping crisp drums, ethereal vocals, and a solid bass-line.

A nice lo-fi ambient almost trip hop feel to this track.

A very minimalist electro take on the original. Something I think I'm going to find myself working into a few setlists here in the near future.

What it says on the tin. What post punk or related genera group has been dominating your playlist recently. Going back to enjoy the classics? Why. Found something really great and new? Who. Your chance to share.

For the last week it's been Cold Cave for me. Specifically several tracks off "Cherish the Light Years". So many of the tracks are sonically bright and cheery but still dark and vast at the same time. I find myself going back to it regularly.

What is Post-punk (en.wikipedia.org)

Post-punk is a diverse genre that emerged from the cultural milieu of punk rock in the late 1970s. Originally called "new musick", the terms were first used by various writers in the late 1970s to describe groups moving beyond punk's garage rock template and into disparate areas. Sounds writer Jon Savage already used "post-punk" in early 1978. NME writer Paul Morley also stated that he had "possibly" invented the term himself. At the time, there was a feeling of renewed excitement regarding what the word would entail, with Sounds publishing numerous preemptive editorials on new musick. Towards the end of the decade, some journalists used "art punk" as a pejorative for garage rock-derived acts deemed too sophisticated and out of step with punk's dogma. Before the early 1980s, many groups now categorized as "post-punk" were subsumed under the broad umbrella of "new wave", with the terms being deployed interchangeably. "Post-punk" became differentiated from "new wave" after their styles perceptibly narrowed.

The genera itself being foundationally typified by groups such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, Wire, Public Image Ltd, the Pop Group, Cabaret Voltaire, Magazine, Pere Ubu, Joy Division, Talking Heads, Devo, Gang of Four, the Slits, the Cure, and the Fall. But not limited to. And has spun off many sub genera such as alternative rock, dark-wave, cold-wave, synth-wave, synth-pop, and some indie rock
