I want holidays to stay specific dates. Christmas isn’t always a weekend, July 4th isn’t always a weekend. They don’t need to line up with the weekend to be fun.

This seems like it will be a very neat event.

Peep that Grizzlies blanket! But in all seriousness, I have 3 kids and I have no clue how to lock up my nice things. They always find a way.

Good find on that article. I can understand a few months but 18 takes an entire year’s worth of conventions out. Granted, I rarely go to any events there but it definitely has a place.

That’s a pretty long while. I guess the yearly conventions will have to postpone or find a temporary location

Far out man.

I think so. It’s an interesting bit of history in the state.

Hello Kentucky! Not many posts in here so far, so I figured let’s open things up. What part of Kentucky are you from and what’s your favorite quirky attraction in Kentucky?

I’m in NKY, favorite quirk is Rabbit Hash always elects a dog as it’s mayor.

Same. I’m so far enjoying the Lemmy experience.

Same. I just had kid #3 so it’s even harder now to find the time.

Trailside in Newport is a neat place. I’m not sure who they source their beans from though.
