I think one of the ideas of Star Trek was that humanity should not have to undergo terrible things in order to finally realize our potential. Rather, I think it was to show that humanity could achieve wonderful things as long as we try to do what's best for us all, righting any wrongs we commit along the way

It's absolutely disgusting to me just how many people fail to properly and consistently clean their earbuds. To me, wearing dirty earbuds is equivalent to rewearing dirty socks.

I feel like this has been true since they included children, to an extent. Teams have always wanted to increase their prospects and potential, and them having junior leagues / rosters only serves as a tool for this.
