Trump gives tax cuts to the rich. Rich people own the media. This has always been true, but with the extreme increase in inequality, it’s never been worse. There’s no longer a liberal media.
They are right wing. The main issue is that it’s just impossible to convince the MAGA crowd to vote in their own best interest. So instead the battle ranges around suburbanites, who are generally well off and don’t want to change the system too much.
Just another example that in Trump world only one thing counts: Trump. There are no principles . America does not come first. It’s really just him. Incredible how people can vote for someone like that.
This is really traditional media pretending to still be relevant. No one will tune in live for the interview who is not already addicted to politics. People will share clips afterwards, but some (many?) will be deepfakes.
The point is that progressives voted for her. The narrative that Bernie-bros stayed home has been debunked several times. Relative to Biden in 2020, she was indeed missing the votes of centrists.
Progressives always say this, and they are unfortunately always wrong. Face it, if you are progressive you won’t sit this election out. If you are centrist you might (or you’ll vote Trump).
Actually I heard this was happening with the Biden debate. No wonder he looked confused when an idiot is standing next to you screaming. I have to say, I hadn’t considered that issue before.
Watch NY Dems fuck it up (again). More seriously I think it’s very likely that the presidency and the house will move in the same direction. Gerrymandering and the electoral college both favor the GOP in the same way. Even in 2016 when Dems won the popular vote by a mile, the GOP still took both the house and the presidency.
There’s a huge difference between day/night storage which is sufficient for most locations in the world that are somewhat closer to the equator, and seasonal storage. We have no good solution for seasonal storage at the moment.
I am guessing/hoping that the device needed maintenance and since nobody can maintain it, it’s removed for safety reasons. I think They wouldn’t perform surgery without such a safety need.
It’s actually pretty insane how quickly the extreme right has evolved from: “we are against immigration of Muslims because they are intolerant to Western values” towards antisemitism, bigotry towards LGBTQ and love of Putins authoritarianism. The daylight between fundamentalist Islam and parties like AFD is getting smaller and smaller. The only difference is, you guessed it, the color of their skin.
