That's a big chunk! Always been interested in having a go at rose cutting some. Lemmy's image uploading seems to be broken for me right now but I've got some more gems to show!

Those stones are stunning! I hope UltraTec fix it soon - I'm terrified of something going wrong with mine as, being in the UK, I have no idea who could fix it
It's a little box for ease of display in photography. The groove gets wider at one end allowing different size stones to sit in it.
I can imagine getting a good polish on that was also an arse, I always struggle with long facets

I've never really thought what calcite would look like faceted - I'm interested in the results! The softness must make it really hard to do the final polish?
