If I get interrupted talking 3 times in a meeting I get up and walk out. This isnt beers with the boys or brunch with the gals, if my opinion cant be respected in full I have work to do.

Theres a market for people who want a portable as opposed to a "handheld". Someone was always going to fill that niche.

But would studios still greenlight the script?

Its still a great movie and no I dont think Mike Meyers would intentionally write hurtful material, I just think some of the jokes definitely hit differently now.

That is partly for opsec reasons.

Forcing potential "unauthorised personnel" to constantly be sourcing new uniforms is a legitimate method to add another layer of difficulty to gaining access. The people who really give a shit will notice if you're wearing out of date uniforms.

Punching Basils mother for looking like a man did make me think "Yeah, doubt they would do that one now."

I mean, art isnt created in a vacuum. I suppose I'm watching it through the lense of someone who isnt 13 too.

I dont think any of them became bad jokes but I definitely think some of the jokes are a bit more "potentially offensive" today than just lighthearted fun.

What was on the radio when Princess Diana had her accident?

Her forehead.

Its been almost as long as Austin was frozen since that movie came out. Socially speaking... things have changed. Lol

Its fun to watch with that in mind.

Not too long after it came out I was good at Siege and I mean good I was ranked in the top 1000 players and I thought that was pretty badass. I got a DM from some guy who was like "Hey I'm from TEAM and we wanted to know if you wanted to try out for our Siege squad?" I said thanks but no thanks, I have a mortgage and a full time and then some job. I dont want to take on the obligation.

I then went and googled the team, I was being courted by serious professional players. I still decided I didnt want that headache but as someone who has always been an underachiever it was like an IRL achievement popup or a level up notification. Like... look what I can achieve when I actually give a fuck and put the work in.

The truth these days is that damn near every car has reasons why you shouldnt buy it.

The Germans are still fraudulently trading on their rep from the 80s, the French are always being different just for the fucking hell of it wether the customer likes it or not, the Italians love needing bespoke tools for simple jobs, everything British is now chinese or german, the Americans would be burned at the stake for suggesting the next model be smaller, Japans "reliability" rep is mostly being upheld by Toyota and Honda who charge accordingly, China is coming along in leaps and bounds but still cant figure out "supply chain logistics" for spare parts and Korea just keeps dropping the fucking ball over dumb simple shit.

People ask me all the time "What do you think about CAR" and Ive honestly resorted to "If you like it, buy it. Ive known people with reliable Fiats and unreliable Toyotas. The only unhappy people are the ones who bought a car they didnt WANT."

What the french DID for food historically cannot be understated, but times change.
