It wouldnt be any good for speed runs on an OG console. But I'm using all those re-release mini consoles so they are effectively emulated and not always perfectly so its ok. Best thing is I think I paid $50 for the projector brand new so its not expensive to give it a try, and even if you think it sucks theres a novelty to playing NES on a 3 meter "screen"

The supplier argued that text messages and thumbs up werent the correct ordering procedure and that he wasnt liable, the court ruled effectively that "Then you should have said that. A thumbs up is a general term of positive response to a question or statement and in this case constitutes acceptance of a verbal agreement" and had to cough up.

Found the case, it was Canada and the farmer F-ed up not the supplier.

Ive found that a cheap 1080p projector onto an unprepped painted white wall does a great job of making old crt stuff look correct.

Most European Fords are produced in Europe, so you are supporting local jobs and production if you buy Ford in Europe but still ultimately American owned.

The following day, drive the cars back to the dealership, say "I know I'm going to take a loss but I've changed my mind. Can you buy the car back?"

Probably wind up with about $700,000 and I'm not taking back the Type R.

Id just like to point out that while I think Tesla is a shit car company partly owned by a complete asshole that theres no evidence at this point that there was any fault with the car. Could have been a medical episode, drunk driver or shit driver. They deserve a lot of hate for shit thats definitely wrong with them. This might not be one of those cases.

The Stg44 was produced from 1944 by the german army in ww2. So very late in the war, very few of them (comparatively to most ww2 guns) were made and as you can imagine, guns from the "losing side" tend to be destroyed. They were pretty much the first "assault rifle" and the AK47 adapted a lot from it. It was found in Conneticut so it was almost definitely brought home from WW2 by a US soldier, it was almost certainly used in anger.

Undoubtably its worth preserving as a very rare example of something of historical significance, but I dont blame someone for not recognising it as such.
