Pretty much my assessment.

I can have 80 million dollars but I have to live my life in constant fear and in Iran.

I get especially annoyed when people act like because their great great grandparents on one side of their tree were Italian that they have some innate knowledge of pasta and sauce.

Like even if nonna learned from her nonna and you learned from her, theres still a non zero chance that great great nonna was a SHIT COOK.

Dj Khaled is kind of the posterchild for egotistical dickhead, I will never dispute this. However, his skill is bringing talent together and he is pretty damn good at it. He's more like a movie producer/casting director than a music producer in how he does business. He hears a beat, thinks "Who would destroy on this?" Buys the beat, Makes some phone calls, gets some artists onboard to do a verse, pays the artists for their work, mixes the track or pays a producer who he thinks has skills to do it for him and releases it.

He is the child of Palestinian immigrants and built himself his dream job and is worth an estimated 70 million, have a look at his wikipedia for the sheer number of awards he has been nominated for... Talentless hacks cant do that. Raging egomaniacs with annoying personalities sure can tho.

That mass shooter one he did was actually pretty good... because it felt like a gritty raw student film about a gritty raw subject that didnt need a lot of exposition.

But it wasnt good for an experienced professional film maker.

If I get interrupted talking 3 times in a meeting I get up and walk out. This isnt beers with the boys or brunch with the gals, if my opinion cant be respected in full I have work to do.

Theres a market for people who want a portable as opposed to a "handheld". Someone was always going to fill that niche.

But would studios still greenlight the script?

Its still a great movie and no I dont think Mike Meyers would intentionally write hurtful material, I just think some of the jokes definitely hit differently now.

That is partly for opsec reasons.

Forcing potential "unauthorised personnel" to constantly be sourcing new uniforms is a legitimate method to add another layer of difficulty to gaining access. The people who really give a shit will notice if you're wearing out of date uniforms.

Punching Basils mother for looking like a man did make me think "Yeah, doubt they would do that one now."

I mean, art isnt created in a vacuum. I suppose I'm watching it through the lense of someone who isnt 13 too.

I dont think any of them became bad jokes but I definitely think some of the jokes are a bit more "potentially offensive" today than just lighthearted fun.

What was on the radio when Princess Diana had her accident?

Her forehead.

Its been almost as long as Austin was frozen since that movie came out. Socially speaking... things have changed. Lol

Its fun to watch with that in mind.
