Well I subscribed to both! Thanks for the recommendation!

Contacts. Peripheral vision is amazing. I’ve never had problems putting them in. Wind does make them dry but I carry eye drops. And I don’t even notice they are there. It’s like I don’t have vision problems. I love them.

I’m pretty against the SaaS model. I would like to buy a software I may use 2-4 times a month instead of paying $5 every month even if I don’t use it.

I’m also a fan of Stuart Semple and his paints.

I’m not sure what the point of this response is, but I wanted to give my two cents.

Just subscribed. Thank you!

I’m trying to increase my subscriptions. I was wondering if there are any sub communities the community would recommend. As an example, fantasy sub genre (epic fantasy, cozy fantasy, progression fantasy, et Al). Or specific author or series communities?

Also lemmy.world

No problem! I’ve found wefwef to be very similar to Apollo so far. I have issues loading posts and comments some times, but I’m pretty sure it’s just lemmy.world having overloaded server issues with all the new migrators from Reddit.

There’s a settings tab with a “Check for updates” section that will automatically notify you of new versions, and then you can update without recreating the widget.

I second this. That’s the easiest way for my to find communities. The ones with the most subscribers will typically have the most content, so being able to see that is incredibly useful.
