This is really gross. An opinion article making dramatic debunking claims with zero evidence and linking to other opinion pieces, blogs, and youtube videos in a desperate attempt to appear thoroughly-sourced.

I want to remove this, but I'd rather remind people here that we are not buying into a UFO scam, we are fighting against decades of disinformation and government secrets that have led to a global taboo about anything related to aliens. Contributing to that stigma and status-quo because you're worried someone might write a book makes me sick. We want the truth, and people like this want you to give up and go home. Fuck them.

No, of course not, it's lauded. I love it too, but it's a slow burn and most modern gamers don't have the attention span.

I can't wait to see this, but I worry that it will not have much more of an impact than the original Grusch interview.

I recognize most people don't even click links to read articles, but it is the third paragraph.

Yeah...uh...this isn't gonna happen. They don't even use the same internet. There's simply no chance of this without being on-site and any idiot who tries to storm a covert government facility will rid the world of their idiocy in short measure.

Not sure what you mean. The world being "random" isn't what concerns me. The universe is clearly a pretty chaotic place with no regard for our comfort. But the universe isn't likely malicious. Aliens can be, and that is what I am referring to.

To be fair, the truth may be horrifying. Some of the things I've seen thrown out there could really cause worldwide depression and apathy if confirmed. Still, I think I'd rather know the truth than wonder my whole life. Truths can be painful, but they are the path to progress.

They didn't keep the secret, like at all. There have been sightings everywhere, documents leaked, official reports and backtracking since Roswell. The trouble is that they managed to convince everyone that people who believe in aliens are crackpots, and they only exist in movies and TV. Now even when people see them they don't say anything because all of their friends look at them differently.
