I'll just include the important parts from the subreddit post:

The attached link will lead you directly to the House Oversight Committee's hearing page for the UAP hearing due at 10AM on July 26, 2023 - just under one week away. Link also below:

https://oversight.house.gov/hearing/unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-implications-on-national-security-public-safety-and-government-transparency/

The subject of the hearing is listed as 'Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency'.

Linked on the page is the scheduled YouTube livestream link that is usual with House hearings. In case anyone runs into trouble accessing the government website, the direct link to the livestream is:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ7Dw-739VY

To also note - previous hearings listed on the website show a list of witnesses brought forward during the hearing. This seems to only appear AFTER the hearing has concluded. Also attached, again after the hearing has concluded, is a document containing the statement made by each witness in the form of a PDF file. Each witness will have their own document, if provided, under their name (hyperlinked as Document for all) Examples of this can be seen by looking on the pages for already held hearings via the main hearings list via this link:

In 2023 this incident was caught on camera, with multiple witnesses as well as a police officer claiming to see the same things. It's been the subject of much debate, but the vast majority of videos and comments about this event are pointing at video artifacts and shadows and claiming cloaking technology. The thing is, it is not at all about the shadow at the 0:26 mark a lot of morons point to. The other thing people pointed to was the "grey alien" at 1:16, which was just from compression and is not present in the original video.

Once you realize where it is, it is clear to me this is more than just a shadow or artifacts from the video. At around the 1:08 minute, until the very end of the video it is just standing there, a tall, mantis like creature. At least, that's what I can see, its a bit too dark to actually see it in full detail, but I think it even moves a bit. In the picture below with the red circle showing what I am talking about, I see a clear abdomen, arm, long neck and triangle head. One of the witnesses stated it was a one of multiple ~8 foot tall creatures with grey/green color with a large head, becoming paralyzed from its gaze. Absolutely horrifying. enhanced image

Hi Folks!

With all the recent hysteria around drones/orbs right now. I wanted to offer a clear guide on how to get the best results when attempting to photo or video something you see.

If someone thinks they see a UFO - please know that quality is paramount right now. You should treat it like such. This isn't something folks can just whip out a phone and try and capture without contributing to the already-bad data. Given how long this mystery has persisted, I've been really surprised at how low effort most evidence is. Is this not important? Don't we want to get to the bottom of things? Well then, read on, here's how:

  1. ALWAYS- Validate what you are seeing with public data. Use AR Astronomy apps to rule out bright stars and planets. Use AR Flight Radar apps to rule out commercial planes. Also ensure you aren't looking at a lens flair by comparing against other light patterns in the image.
  2. ALWAYS- Use a tripod or stabilization of some sort and film from a stationary area. Even a mini tripod is better than nothing. Oh, and pull over if you're driving or ask to pull over if you are a passenger. This is important enough to pull over for right?
  3. ALWAYS- Lock your focus to infinity. You might need a 3rd party app to do it. Anything further than a few hundred feet doesn't need a focus wheel - just go straight to "infinity" or as far out focus as you can and lock it.
  4. TRY - To get as much data as possible. Is the orb still there? Do you have battery? Don't stop recording! 6 second snippets are a trend worth fighting against.
  5. TRY - Astrophotography mode if your phone supports it. It stacks thousands of exposures and tries to increase detail. Stop the capture if the subject moves to avoid streaks.
  6. TRY - Lucky imaging if you don't have an Astro mode on your phone. This means locking your shutter speed to 1 second, with a moderate-high ISO (about 3/4 of the way to max ISO) and taking images continuously. This can later be stacked in a photo editor or astronomy stacker where you can fine tune the image and get insane amounts of detail. If you find that the subject is too bright, reduce ISO first, then reduce shutter speed.
  7. TRY - To use a telescopic lens OR mount your camera to a telescope of some type. Many of the videos suggest that these anomalies are often stationary for long enough to be viewable in astronomy telescopes.

If you follow these tips, you'll get better photos than 90% of what's being shared recently. Even if you're using a smartphone.

Anyone else have good tips?

EDIT: Added note about what to do if lucky imaging subject is too bright.

Former Pentagon insider, veteran and investigator Luis "Lue" Elizondo is quite possibly the most important voice in the modern UFO movement, and he sat down with NewsNation's Ross Coulthart to share the story of what he claims the American government really knows about UFOs.

It's a bit of a joke. But still, with Jacques Vallee's theory in mind about the absurdity , and the mimicry, maybe there is something to it afterall 🤔

This sighting took place on December 16, 2009 in Santiago, Chile.

This week, the director of the U.S. government’s UFO analysis office stated that there is “evidence” of concerning unidentified flying object activity “in our backyard.” According to physicist Seán Kirkpatrick, who heads the congressionally-mandated All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, this alarming UFO activity can be attributed to one of two extraordinary sources: either a foreign power or “aliens.”

To be sure, the ramifications of either would be significant. But Kirkpatrick’s comments, which come as he is about to retire after a 27-year defense and intelligence-focused career, are more intriguing because he also says that “none” of the hundreds of military UFO reports analyzed by his office recently “have been positively attributed to foreign activities.”

At the same time, Kirkpatrick and senior defense officials have ruled out the possibility that secret U.S. programs or experimental aircraft explain the phenomena.

Some very interesting footage taken by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency.

I vouch for the US FOIA process when it's not being stonewalled but this article has a disingenuous take. The BlackVault has in the past called on whistleblowers to testify to Congress under oath and now the goalpost has shifted. They want more to prove their statements. Even under oath DG stated the DOPSR report only clears it for it's classification not it's validity. Unfortunately, this is not enough. This is just another attack at a whistleblower who put their money where there mouth is and testified under oath to Congress.

“Non-human” alien corpses have been displayed to Mexican politicians at Congress.

The two small alleged alien corpses, retrieved from Cusco, Peru, were presented in windowed boxes in Mexico City on Wednesday, stirring excitement within the UFO conspiracy theorist community.

The event was spearheaded by journalist and ufologist Jaime Maussan, who testified under oath that the mummified specimens are not part of “our terrestrial evolution”, with almost a third of their DNA remaining “unknown”, reported Mexican media.

This is a huge win for future hearings and movement for disclosure. P.S.They replicated some of the names (Moskowitz joked about this).

This presents a serious development and conflict that needs to be addressed.

I can't find it anymore. It claimed to be a serious place that collected and sorted all evidence related to UAPs.

It also recommended the book "In Plain Sight - an investigation into UFOs and impossible science". It was a BIG website and (I think) had on the left side of the page a list of all topics it had info on.

What was this site called?
