I actually feel like posting and not lurking. It's incredible. Was at Reddit for 10 years and just watched it nose dive. Happy to call the fediverse my home.

My first book was this one, then Rumo, then I am going to read the others that are translated at some point. I'd say you can start anywhere it's not exactly sequential.

Neil Degrasse Tyson has a good bit about this. TLDW, it's 50 percent chance we are in a simulation or the real world because the technology to create a believable simulation does not currently exist. If it did we could be any infinite number of simulations. I can live with those odds.

Bluetooth earbuds. Took me the longest time to buy a pair. Now I have them all the time.

Sounds about right last time I watched it that was the so-called origin story of why and how Fry was trapped.

I would have to say the strangest book by far was City of Dreaming Books by German author Walter Moers. It's about sentient dinosaurs who love all things books and knowledge and aspire to be writers. One in particular goes on a journey to the greatest city said to have the rarest books and an adventure ensues.

Walter Moers books are all incredible and strange but not all are translated from German yet. I recommend Rumo as well if you do like his style; same universe different time and protagonists.

Thanks for your hard work and commitment. I was a 10 year user on Reddit and now I am dipping my feet here. Thing is reddit I was always a lurker and here I feel like I can post and it means something. The good will and actual content in the conversations are a breath of fresh air. Thanks everyone for being so welcoming.
