Yea same. Now that you mention that, gaming really is one of the only reasons I’m on there anymore. Destiny for example, still has a pretty active sub. But to your point, the couple discord groups I’ve joined over the past couple years are way better.

A lot of the site feels like it’s been overrun by bots. The more niche communities seem to still be pretty good (and I do still enjoy engaging in them). But the subs like ask Reddit, Aita and the relationships one? Yea, it all feels like bs.
Even if that’s the reason, still, come on
I’m staying right by a rail trail/path whatever you want to call it. I was going to bring my running shit and get some runs in during the early morning; you think it’s worth for me to even do that?
I have to head out to Houston next week for work and I am not looking forward to how hot it is down there. I can’t even handle the heat up in here in the northeast.
Yea that’s true. Definitely not fair to single them out.

For a long time, I was using Things for reminders, but I feel like reminders has caught up so much. Plus, I use the location based reminders more than I ever thought I would.
Someone didn't grow up during the days of forums.
But as a designer, I understand where they're coming from. Especially if they were using the new reddit design on the web and Apollo on mobile. At the very least though, I think Lemmy's default UI looks much better than old.reddit (and I say that as someone who still uses old.reddit).
Much better way to go right. Better than having sit in there for days.
Jesus you cannot make this shit up lol
