Been trying to convert my friends since 1998.

I can’t believe the state of leadership in the US these days.

Our representatives are a reflection of our voters.

"But money determines our representatives."

Yeah, because we suck at maintaining a democracy and slowly allowed that reality to come to pass. If we voted more intelligently we'd have more intelligent representatives and money wouldn't have the influence it does. Other countries have better, more intelligent representatives. We just suck.

How about stop fascist from taking over the government.

He can't. The majority of voting Americans want it and voted for it.

Totally agree. I'm no saint. I've purchased from Amazon. But the last election showed us that Bezos is very much not our friend. I'll be damned if I give that leech another Amazon Prime subscription.

Yeah, "I'll just Amazon it" is becoming a more common phrase. It's cheap. The delivery is surprisingly fast.

Downside is you're making one of our wealthiest oligarchs even more powerful.

And, of course, it could be stolen off your doorstep before you can even get to it.

Yup. My local Safeway has 2 security guards on duty at all times and one by one the aisles are starting to get locked up.

We started shopping elsewhere.

It's not just a convenience thing. Although it's really shitty to wait for a person to unlock it and then feel pressured while they stand there as I'm reading the labels and comparing items. It also just feels icky. Like I'm being punished for something. Probably for not being rich.

Hey now. Don't you dare put our oligarch's wealth in even the slightest bit of jeopardy.

It's in fashion until we become a more intelligent species and learn how to vote better.

Spoiler Alert: Probably not going to happen.

We should probably go extinct, for the good of the planet.

For the good of the universe. Humanity is a cancer. We'd spread to other parts of our galaxy and consume the planets there as well. Guaranteed to go to war with any other sentient beings we come across. It's our nature. Hell, it might be the nature of all sentient beings.

I just hope it isn’t too painful.

It'll probably be slow, with a generally declining quality of life for a long, long time. I almost just want the nukes to drop so it happens fast.

Been super happy with NordVPN for years.

People will complain about them advertising on YouTube. Why would I care about that? Companies advertise.

People will complain about them not having port forwarding. This doesn't matter for the majority of VPN users. If it does, use a different one.

Hate him all you want. He was legislatively the most progressive president in most of our lifetimes and we traded him in after one term for an anti-democratic felon rapist.

Lookin' good America.

As far as I know, this only matters if you're hosting a VPN server or torrenting, and you can just buy a static IP from Nord for cheap, like all their services. Personally, I don't torrent on VPN because I just ignore all the DMCAs I get and have never had a problem, probably because I'm not a notorious uploader. And it wouldn't affect your ability to download torrents if you don't have port forwarding on VPN, just your ability to upload.

For the vast majority of VPN users just looking for anonymity while they surf/download, port forwarding it not necessary.

And, personally, if I did need it, I'd find a VPN service that provides it without its CEO prostrating themselves to a rapist.
