Honesty, I don't think I really like upvotes and downvotes at all. My favorite system is Discourse where the only sort option is old -> new and you can provide reactions (heart, thumbs up, etc...) that don't change the sort at all. This lets you follow the discussion as it happened & gauge engagement yourself.

I spent 5 hours of my life on that... I don't know what to think about any of that. On one hand, the early stuff was bad, but at least it had less slurs.

Also, is it bad that it didn't seem that TERFy even at the end? I get he was trying to portray a "trans bad" message but everything came off as fairly badass from Feuchia and Monique. If you read it without paying much attention and with rose tinted glasses parts come off as fairly trans positive.

EDIT: Holy shit, that thread doesn't show just how bad the comic got. It's now this weird corporate artstyle without characters or plot, only transphobia. This thread at least had characters like Feuchia or Monique. It's all in color now, no longer uses the 4 panel format, it just looks like right wing comic #1690.

+1 for OpenSUSE, it's a great semi-stable rolling release distro. However, I would avoid it for uses that require doing a bunch of stuff with networking because YAST messes that up a little.
