I'm going to post on some of the niche subreddits about lemmy and the fediverse up until the end of the month and then thats it. I'm hopeful if people stick with it it'll grow organically. Decentralisation is the only way to go.

Is there an android app for kbin? Or can you sign in from jerboa?
I brush my teeth and stare into the mirror 'test test test' the words swirl around my mind like my toothpaste spittle swirls around the drain. I lay in bed, the darkness is impenetrable 'test test test' incessantly those three words drive me to grind my teeth, push my fingernails into the palms of my hands. Sleep doesn't come, only the words come increasingly pushing me over the edge. 'Test test test'
Apparently the fediverse has grown by 500,000 users since last month. That's alot of people, hopefully the word continues to spread and the user base keeps growing.
Working nightshift for 6 more nights, going to miss the nice weather this weekend. Not looking forward to trying to sleep during the day with the heat but hey ho, at least I get a week off when I'm done.
Welp, they deleted all the comments in the stickied thread about remaining read only indefinitely. I refreshed and the stickied thread was deleted. Guess it's full take over time.
It's new and exciting, I've probably commented more here in the last 3 days than the last month on reddit. I really hope the fediverse thrives as its an amazing idea.
Is delta 8 legal in the UK? Surely if it has a psychoactive effect it would be automatically banned under the psychoactive substances bill.
That's some crazy strong pain killers for a 14 year old!! The nhs just don't seem to know how to deal with chronic pain, they offer things like cbt which might be OK for psychological issues but when it's a physical ailment then praying the pain away isn't going to work.
The US truly seems like a strange place, imagine having a fundraiser to pay the millionaire disgraced former presidents legal bills. We'd never be so stupid in the uk.......ah..fuck it.
The expanse was fantastic. I also really enjoyed raised by wolves, I was bummed out when it was cancelled after 2 seasons, it was one of the more inventive sci fi shows.
That's exactly what's happening, the people who are disgruntled enough have either left or maybe like me just commenting occasionally to promote lemmy. This leaves all the people who don't care. I'm hoping it's going to be a slow bleed and reddit will eventually wither.
