I guarantee this was their goal all along. Build up something to have a larger entity come through and buy the company. Wish I had thought of it but I'm not a fan of screwing over the user base.
Now I'm curious as well as someone not in the area. Are we talking bad part of town or just raging assholes harassing employees?
I've been keeping an eye on Edison for their work making a Diesel Hybrid engine currently for large duty trucks but they are also working on drop in replacement for light duty trucks. Would love a hybrid truck that I can use to tow a travel trailer with and not have to worry about range anxiety in an all battery truck.
Isn't this the company that got busted for having their demo video of the 18 wheeler going downhill by gravity... and they claimed the truck was on its own power.
I had the red dot the other day and it just went away on its own. I clicked it a couple times and found nothing there, so I just moved on with my life.
I would definitely be ok with spinning up a Seeedbox to seed data that has been deleted.

What you want is a KVM or if both devices are laptops, share a docking station between the two.
I have my work laptop & personal PC on a KVM so I can just press a button to to from work to personal.
I've had my dual monitor supporting KVM from TESsmart since the start of Covid and will never not have a KVM again so I can just one the one desk setup.
It is an interesting idea for an app, if I used any socials I would think about using it since it is definitely just Trillian for the fediverse. Fedillian? Trilliverse?

I did the exact same thing after my Fossil Android watch battery could not hold a charge for more than 6 hours after having it for a few years. The batteries are not easily replaceable, if at all in smart watches. As far as I'm concerned, they are just manufactured e-waste.
I went with a Seiko Automatic style watch. I only need a watch to tell time and date.
