Let's not forget that time he offered to send his sperm to Mars to aid colonization efforts.

He's disgusting, and yes genuinely believes his seed 🤢 is somehow a valuable and desired commodity; that women should be literally begging and paying him to give them super genius babies.

People don't know what words mean in English either yet continue trying to force their made up definitions on others.

Language is objective, because a language is an immaterial object. The opposite, subjective, would impy that language itself has an experience of the world as an entity in itself; that it is a subject.

People's understanding of the languages they speak is subjective (the subject is the person), but their use of language is objective, because they create objects (words, sentences) in the air or on a screen. When another person, a subject, reads those objective words, they then have a new subjective understanding of them. But the words, and the language, remain objects.

With a 20 year head start she might be able to actually do it, maybe by becoming president or head of the cdc or something?

The ability for a time traveler to prevent 9/11 with one day's notice is... definitely going to be more difficult.

The "tendies" thing ("nuggies" too) is so cringe to me, even more than Redditors and "le bacon". It's so easy to heat up frozen, pre-breaded chicken, and all these greentexts present it as though "being able to cook" (read: can put frozen food in an air fryer) is the pinnacle of love languages.

Can we make Lemmy lentils a thing or something? We're already obcessed with beans I guess, feels like we need our own stupid food meme gimmicks to compete.

Space Mutiny is my favorite, but since OP already claimed it (now who will bring toys to the children!?) I'll go with my close second, Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. It's such trash and Raul Julia tears up every blessed scene he's in. He only dabbles in dopples but his love for the cinemas is easy to reciprocate.

I dunno, i can relate. I find his performances in things now to be very insufferable. He clearly just checks some marketability boxes and has flanderized himself to be safe enough to keep collecting those Claptrap and Minecraft-Steve paychecks.

It feels foolish because any idol will dissapoint you, and JB never seemed like a figure you should invest much emotion in. But you listen to old Tenacious D songs and part of "the act" is that JB and KG are friends on a level those goes beyond any other notion of fraternity and friendship. The songs are about the earth-shaking power of their bond.

So to see JB casually throw that away over a stupid joke, it reveals the artifice of the whole enterprise. And that sucks, its like when the couple you've known for 15 years, married since high school, get divorced and then you find out that actually he was abusive and the whole perfect loving relationship was a front. It tears up an example of a good relationship you didn't realize was your model and makes you question if you really understood to begin with.

I believe you'll find the documentary film "They Live" educational on the matter of space capitalism.
