I didn't like the prequels when they came out. I considered them as ok sci-fi movies, but poor Star Wars movies. Over the years, I've gained more appreciation for them, and now would even prefer to watch them over the originals.
I understood that things would be changing when Lucasfilm was sold, and they wouldn't be fully changing in ways I'd enjoy. But George is usually not interested in making more Star Wars, and I've been able to enjoy much more Star Wars because he sold the company. The alternative was likely a complete forgetting of Star Wars. To some, that's probably preferable, but for me, I'd rather have more Star Wars like it is now than leaving it dead, closed, and canonized on a shelf in my old DVD collection.
I'm not saying that haters of The Acolyte will come around in 20 years and enjoy it, but they might. I'm having a good time watching it.

Ah, yes. I can't speak to the intent of the meme. Not that you specifically asked me, personally, in the first place. Sorry, I'm of no help there, but if I were to guess, I'd say it's a Jerry Seinfeld "what's up with that" attempt at humor.
Regarding the spelling, well now, that's just equal parts hilarious and sad.
There's a lot of nuance in science that is ignored at non-upper-level university courses. We teach models that work for most cases, and each level deeper simply "lies" a little less, if that's how we choose to describe what's being taught. For 99.9% of uses, the simplest models are sufficient.
I'm not a fan of this guy, but let's give credit where it's due. The article headline is trying to rile us up for clicks. It took his comments about "building bridges to bring both sides together" and accused him of encouraging acceptance of homophobes. Aren't there plenty of bigots out there to fight without twisting "building bridges" into "accepting homophobes?" Aren't we better than this?
