I would also add Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping as great newer parodies. The first, starring John C. Reilly is a spoof of Walk the Line and music biopics in general, the second a spoof of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and popstar documentaries in general, starring Andy Samberg. Both movies were box office bombs unfortunately, despite being really funny and also having actually great songs.

There sociopaths, maybe even psychopaths. Other people are always just tools to reach their goals, to be discarded when they are not useful anymore. Their lifes are videogames in which they are the heroes and everybody else are NPCs.

That was during in his "Comedians in cars drinking coffee" episode with Seinfeld and it was cleared in advance with the Secret Service. They also had to eat in the WH cantina.

"Let them eat cake!" (Which Marie-Antoinette never said.)

Yeah, although the Doctor is pretty hypocritical with his pacifism. Something which this quote sums up pretty well. He did kill several species after all.

Just like temporary solutions turn into... you know.

If you ever wondered how most Germans felt in January of 1933, probably like this.

It's worse than that. Hitler's entire economic plan relied on heavily burrowing money from other countries with the intent to pay it back with money plundered from conquered nations.

As for the people having better lives, well, not really. Earnings increased for workers but mainly from working even longer hours. The actual hourly wage fell on the level of the Great Depression. And due to less imported goods, consumer products like food and clothing also had to be rationed.

Who was better off by a lot however were large cartels and monopolies crushing small businesses thanks to the eridications of unions and, later, forced labor in the concentration camps.

So, while the (war) economy did boom, that didn't really translate to better lives for common people (even before the war started).

For what it's worth, even the bad reviews agree that it's bug-free and feature-complete at launch. It also seems to be at least competent as an action RPG, although not doing anything new with the genre. Where opinions wildly diverge is whether it's a good Bioware and more specifically Dragon Age game.

Also notable is the fact that Hitler managed to gain power with only about 35 percent of the popular vote. Because regular conservatives formed a coalition with him, convinced they would be able to control and use him. Instead he used them.

Also, he then needed a false flag operation to be able to declare martial law - gaining the same kind of absolute power that the US president now has automatically thanks to the Supreme Court.

And once again, as with Epstein, there are plenty of pictures of Kamala Harris being friendly with Combs. Oh, no wait, that was Trump: https://www.sheknows.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/celebrities-friends-with-trump-family-002.jpg?resize=512

No gas-powered vehicles? No guns on the streets? That sounds honestly amazing. Is that supposed to paint her in a bad light?

Also very ironic that Musk of all people fearmongers with electric cars.
