buddy what are you not getting about "fuel makes the planet hot we should seek alternatives"

also we superduper do not need to move goods as cheap and as fast as possible, that's some capitalist dogmatic brainwashing

Yeah but helicopters require fuel and I don't know if you've been paying attention, but using fuel makes climate change happen.

Interesting, I though the placement of the apostrophe was a mistake at first.

Here's some news: I switched over to XFCE Mint on my w10 bloated former-school-laptop now ~~porn-machine~~ (ahem) bedside-reader, and it's running well enough that I no longer feel like dousing it in gasoline, running about 10 nails through it, then setting it alight.

Seriously, I'm strongly considering switching my desktop over.

Hooray for linux!

Yes. Someone has been trying real hard to make AI-gen Harrypotter Scifi happen. It's not going to happen.

Some immersion blenders come with replaceable toolheads too, including a more traditional food processor style. I got a replaceable toolhead model, but no other attachments. Haven't needed it. I got it for soups in my slow cooker, works well.

Edit: I think I might have seen that some blenders come with food processor attachments too? Don't have one of those.

Sounds pretty cool, but I can't tell from the article what they actually did to make it semiconductive. They heat it up and then heat it up again- that makes it a semiconductor? They drive off the doping agent- somehow that's desireable? IIRC silicon chemistries require doping agents like arsenic to produce the semiconductor effect. I don't get it.

And of course, the actual paper is fucking paywalled.
