Yeah I was always annoyed at how the Cerberus armor and weapons were great, but it forced you to waltz around like a Cerberus simp. :/ Everything has to have a drawback I guess!
Unfortunately r/videos is only allowing text based descriptions of videos at this time, so you'll have to describe it in excruciating detail.
(Srsly tho the illegal upload of Bee Movie was a thrilling read.)
We appreciate you posting!!
Whaaat I didn't even know this was a thing that could happen!!
Ok, I have a whole list of mods I used on my last play through.

N8 Weapons Remix
I also downloaded extra outfits, hair packs, and custom character designs.
It has been fun.
Absolutely true. It's tough to be an early adopter sometimes though! I love the vibe here, but I'm really having to shift what my usual community hangouts are. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself in the ones I tried to get running, though one is at least limping along.
But you're right. Patience and persistence is how we get there.
Yup, came here after RiF started throwing weird errors. I thought I still had an hour, damnit! #RIP
This right here. As much as I’ve been enjoying Lemmy, it’s also been hard to go strictly-Lemmy, because the active users currently here aren’t quite as deliciously trashy as some of the subreddits. Like, yeah, I’m a developer, yeah I’m a nerd, but you know what? I like makeup tutorials and talking crap about the Teen Mom franchise. I could descend to deep diving in all my guilty pleasures on Reddit, and it’s crickets over here in comparison.
So…I’m trying. But it’ll only be as successful as the content we generate.
Ok, it's humble, but here's the garden alongside the house. This was all overgrown fescue & St. Augustine grass, before I did a cardboard sheet mulch in February. Mind you, on the right side of this picture - I didn't plant any of that, except for the Zinnias, and none of that was there before. Seriously the morning glories are starting to freak me out. I'd yank em all of the butterflies didn't love them so much. The passionflower vines are only just now starting to bloom.
On the left I've got a random volunteer melon plant (I think they're french mini melons that had a lone seed survive the compost), okra, a decaying sunflower, strawberries and tomatoes. I didn't know until after I planted said strawberries and tomatoes that they aren't good neighbors, oops, but so far so good. Also got some basil and sage.
Ok, it's official! This one has the most upvotes, you win! Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉
I love all of this, thank you so much for going into such detail! I've seen Johnny's seeds online, and was curious to order from them, but I didn't know how reliable they were. I'll go take a look at their stuff.
I've been getting soil, mulch and compost from a wholesale landscape supply place. Unfortunately I didn't haul off my sandy turf mix entirely, so now the grass has grown over and there's a lil hill on the side of my front lawn, oops. Way too hot to do jack squat about it right now, though!!
I see a lot of people saying, "I can't believe it was only a 3% drop," and I'd like to offer some context as to why there's not enough data here to really tell a story, yet. It could go a few different ways.
The Reddit protests in June were a big deal, not just on Reddit or Lemmy, but to the media at-large. Traffic surely saw a huge influx of people wanting to look at the dumpster fire. I know that I myself used Reddit a lot leading up to the blackouts, since it was, in a sense, the last hurrah of Reddit as we knew it. The Spez AMA would have driven traffic. The NSFW sub protests would have driven traffic. All those news articles linked to Reddit directly, and they would have also driven traffic.
Even with all that, there's still a decrease in traffic. As others have said, July will be a better metric for the actual damage done, since the media has largely moved on and aren't driving as many visits, and 3PAs are toast.
These numbers would have been more representative if we could have had more than a quarter to look at. What was the QoQ trajectory before this? For all we know, this could have indicated business as usual, or it could have indicated something much bigger, depending on what the traffic metrics over the past 12-24 months could show us.
I also would have liked to see the history for unique sessions and unique visitors. If there was a huge influx of unique visitors compared to the past few months, but traffic was still decreased overall, then that would indicate it came from news clicks or bots.
Basically what I'm saying is that the data doesn't paint any kind of real picture right at this moment. That doesn't mean there was no impact though. Time will tell.
