Wow, cheap deal and he definitely looked to be more in his element with them last year. Good signing.
Honestly, good for them. They shouldn't just get nothing good in return for Dame
"Powell has agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal, sources said."
.... I mean I guess that's not bad. I would've HIGHLY preferred the vet minimum though.
Reaves went from a two-way contract to a standard minimum contract in 2021 NBA training camp -- and now less than two years later, cashes in on the maximum allowable salary from the Lakers.

WHOOPS, I had this in a different window. Sorry
Great question...
I imagine the Heat will have to give up some combination of Herro + either Duncan Robinson or Lowry + several of their first round picks. Not a great deal at all for the Blazers unless negotiations involve moving Nurkic who's owed something like 54M over the next 3 years.
Lillard, Richardson, Butler, Adebayo, Nurkic would be interesting. But apart from that, no more depth on the bench with Vincent and Strus gone. The pickup of Thomas Bryant is fine and Kevin Love is just more a vet presence.
I agree... It really feels like that era of staying with one team for one's entire career is over for so many players. I'll always value championships like Dirk's run in 2011 that much more because of it.
This year's FA is just all over the place. Likewise, I thought Draymond was out unless he was getting a max from the Warriors, so Blazers with Draymond + whoever else Dame was gonna recruit.
I'd be down for Discord cuz it could let us have a place for discussion for the community here as well!
Third time is the charm haha
Wow, I know he's a good defender and all but that's a lot of money + years committed.
