Anyone use both sync and boost? I had used RIF so trying to get a feel for how each had worked before leaning towards one

Same and I agree that reddit pushing off all 3rd party apps was a bad decision. I keep automatically opening the app before remembering it's not going to work. Gonna take some time to get used to just using lemmy
I gave jerboa a soft try but wasn't thrilled with it. Hoping sync will be a good option when that becomes available.
I thought it only defedded from instances that were being very explicitly racist and/or very poorly moderated. Those seemed like great decisions. What instances do you think shouldn't have been defederated?
That was the day I found lemmy. Joined the next day. It'll be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out when many reddit 3rd party apps shut down.
