It's not really locked behind a paywall though, you can earn in-game currency

Y'know, after dying to mortar sentries the past couple days in defense missions, I'd be 100% down for an incendiary or gas mortar, assuming they dont ragdoll you
Right? Just put on a podcast and run around some lvl 3 maps. You can rack up like 300sc in an hour. It's even easier now that you can stim at full health.
Me personally, if I'm using a flamethrower I want it to feel strong. Cause I'm only ever gonna fight bugs with it that are right next to me.
I'm feeling good about the update, and I'm getting a little hype about it. The armor changes they've talked about so far, it never made sense to me that you had to use a select few weapons to be able to take down a bile titan easily. I always felt like if I shot the stupid thing enough, it should die eventually, and that seems to be the approach they're taking.
Whether or they do a good job though, we'll have to see in about a week.
It feels closer to a 380 tbh
Based on all of the changes discord has made over the past few years, its absolutely enshittification
IIRC didnt gearbox work with the original devs before on ror2? Not defending them, if anything that makes it even worse that they dropped the ball this hard.
The main reason gacha games are popular is usually anime tiddies
I'm conflicted honestly. I like borderlands, 4's obviously just gonna be a cash grab game with the movie released. But I felt like tiny tina's was pretty good, they proved that they can toss a story aside and still have fun with the series. I'm hoping they channel some of that energy into 4, but who knows
Pretty sure the actual hunger games movie had more to do with that
It's also even worse against mobs than it used to be, cause it can't penetrate through them. There's pretty much no point in taking it now over a machine gun.
It's not insane.
If you don't enjoy grinding, don't want to play the game, AND don't want to spend money on the game...maybe consider playing a different game?
