I don't really care for screen rant. TLDR: He didn't want a promotion because he wanted to keep flying and he's immature.

I can sort of see wanting to keep flying, but you'll never convince me none of th senior officers he lived with for 7 years wouldn't have mentored and pushed him to be a great officer.

I would die of dehydration after that, that's how hard I would avoid water.

I remember my dad talking about conversations he had with my grandma saying she felt like she was still young.

Due to my job I end up working working with kids half my age and I still don't feel like an adult.

I don't think anyone ever truly feels like they've grown up and we're all just pretending.

Ooh nice, I still need to finish the show. I started silo but ended up reading the books instead of starting season 2 so that's put a hold on my TV watching lol

At first I thought you meant id as in username and couldn't figure out the correlation, then I realized you meant id as in subconscious and it made way more sense.

I'm not sure about that, it looks like the kind of game that generates stars, planets, factions, et al. And then simulates them doing things; so as the player, you get to enjoy an interesting new universe with every playthrough and get to have fun influencing the various systems.

Voyager was an experimental warship with an entirely holographic crew and a single human engineer to monitor things.

I thought Jordan had picked Sanderson ahead of time, but i just skimmed the wiki and it looks like I misremembered. Jordan was given a terminal diagnosis so he prepared copious notes. When he passed, his widow picked Sanderson because she liked his works and because of a eulogy he wrote for Jordan.

Hell yeah, I've been waiting for this ever since I first heard about it!

If I spent as much time progressing as I did making things look nice, I'd be in tier 9 already.

All right, Gordon, your suit should keep you comfortable through all this. The specimen will be delivered to you in a few moments. If you would be so good as to climb up and start the rotors, we can bring the Anti-Mass Spectrometer to eighty percent and hold it there until the carrier arrives.

This is a rare opportunity for us. This is the purest sample we've seen yet.

The basement has lasers and goo.
