There are a ton of ways to detect ad blockers. They could detect an adblocker, but instead of requesting they turn it off like most websites, just take away the badge.

It's be cool to have a limit of how many users you can moderate at once. Basically, you could moderate several small ones, or a few large ones. This would prevent a few people moderating all the largest communities.
It will die down. Personally, I'm interested in seeing how this platform develops over time as Reddit users migrate, including discussions about Reddit.
I think the most realistic option for an instance would be to have toggleable ads (off by default). And if you turn it on, maybe you get a supporter badge on your profile page.
You know you can be a liberal and still own a gun, right? And sure, most liberals don't want Joe from off the street to walk in and buy a gun with no further investigation, but most don't want to ban weapons outright. Guns should be in the right hands, in the right circumstances. You talk as if believing the the 2nd amendment immediately makes you conservative.
I mean, there are going to be communities of like-minded individuals. Most people want to hang out with and talk with people that believe in similar things. Sure, there are times for discussing differences, but it could be exhausting if that's all you ever did. I don't think this will be going away as long as politics are discussed on the internet
But couldn't that have come from the few moderators that did actually suck?
It's just more impressive that even with a bigger brain he is still a bumbling buffoon.
There's realistically no reason not to generate the max password. The different in possibilities between a password with 16 characters and one with 20 (using a-zA-Z0-9!@#$%^&*()?-+." which isn't even all the options) is 1.2E30 v s 4.13E37. That's seven orders of magnitude from 4 characters. The difference between $1 and $10,000,000. But to be fair, 1.2E30 possible combinations is kind of a lot already, but why not add a few more characters just for the hell of it?
I mean, that's true. And that's usually the case since I typically use a slider. But if you password is 100 characters, numbers, and symbols, I don't think telling them the exact length is going to help much.
