Don't recommend Opera. Owned by China now, with very unethical practices

What if you need to use their site, e.g. to file taxes, or apply for university? There are unfortunately cases, where you have essentially no choice, but to install a Chromium based browser

Performance is fine for you since your hardware is decent. The performance issues becomes more evident on slower hardware, like my 5 year old Galaxy Tab S5e. It's laggy, stuttery and slow to load pages, while using s chromium based browser works mostly fine. UBo isn't a reason to stick with Firefox either, the Kiwi Browser has extension support

Yeah, and breakage is just getting worse and worse, I feel like. It still mostly works just fine. But I don't like the outlook. Plus Firefox on Android has real performance issues

Tablet support is still horrible

I never got it in the first place. I think they had a limited rollout or something

How can you know that to be true, without looking at their source code? They already breached our trust once https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/uy5232/duckduckgo_browser_allows_microsoft_trackers_due/
