Nope, tracking is still shit. It’s the one major problem with my G2. I use it mostly for Simracing now, so it’s not a problem, but beatsaber was a frustrating experience.

They put laws in place that reflect their desire for control. Is your head so far up your own ass that you think that the people setting those laws actually follow them?

There’s separate laws for the ruling class. They don’t give a flying fuck about “values”, they just want control

Yeah, that’s not the whole story

Enabling Linux support does inherently allow more attack vectors that need to be secured that don’t need to be if it’s windows only. Linux works against these kinds of anticheats, as they’re working to get the most information out of the system as possible to prevent 3rd party programs from being run. This is a major design consideration in Linux not present in windows, so there is considerable extra work that has to be done, on top of already being much less effective on Linux than they are on windows.

I do

It also requires windows only applications. So the problem still stands. Switching between the two OS’s is a terrible experience.

Better yet, deepfake over him with someone he’d hate. Changes nothing, enrages him

[–] BURN 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

That’s great until you decide you want to play more than one game and have to restart your computer 5+ times per day. Then you’ve somehow made the experience exponentially worse than staying on either one

They learn completely different from an AI model, considering an AI model cannot learn

[–] BURN 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

There’s currently multiple lawsuits in the courts to decide just that.

If they’re scraping the internet to add to a database of training data, I’d consider that obtaining and storing the work.

However since it’s required to use all of the illegally obtained and in-licensed work to create it, it is a copyright violation, just as tracing over something would be. Again, existing copyright law cannot be applied here because this technology works in a vastly different way than a human artist.

A hard line has to be made that will protect artists. I’d prefer it go even farther in protecting individual copyright while weakening overall copyright for corporate owners.

If I’m in public browsing through twitch, when that stuff pops up, it’s sure not looking like a public pool. 99% of the time it’s a woman with the bottom of the camera cutting off her nipples and a ton of cleavage right in your face. I have NSFW blurring turned on for every other service, because who would have known, people don’t want to see that stuff in public.

Everyone lost their mind because the problem got 100x worse the moment twitch loosened the guidelines, and there’s no way they could have subjectively moderated all of it.

Shroud is still 100% gaming. That doesn’t matter though, because as a large streamer, there’s a lot of overlap with the teenagers watching gaming content and titty streamers.

When I don’t watch any big streamers/fps streamers for a week or two the recommendations are almost always gone, except for the one I clicked on once out of genuine curiosity.

Due to the nature of bikes there’s probably a ton of weight saving that’s going on, which is why stuff breaks so easy. With cars they’re so over engineered that they weigh a (few) ton(s) and are generally over built for their expected stress levels.

Because bikes are so small they’re harder to add in that element of over building.

Oh, and the manufacturers are greedy and want the largest profit margin

TBH I much prefer the cosmetic micro transaction and even loot boxes to this system. Because now you’re locked out of content if you don’t pay extra, while with the other models don’t screw over the players who don’t want to/can’t pay
