Lemmy is capturing some of the early energy that Reddit once had. It’s cool.

That's just measuring captive audience. What about all the influential users who have left because of how Reddit is treating their userbase. Removing mods who were protesting is a very short term solution. In the long term the overall quality of the site will be diminished.

Most of my household waste gets recycled. I have three bins in my kitchen. One for metal, plastic and glass. One for paper and cardboard. The last one is for garbage. 99% of my waste is recycled so there is no cost associated with that. Edit: I also have an organic waste container. We have green bins in my city.

I think Lemmy needs a dedicated mod page that clearly outlines the actions that can take place with links to other views. We need a modmail page so that mods can be contacted and reply to questions anonymously (reply as group). We need a page that shows who we’ve banned and the reasons for the ban. There’s a lot more but this would be a good start.

Yes, it's really clean. Once it grows the debugging will help smooth things out.

The content, not the buttons to click on it are the draw right?

I agree. The content is key.

Request: allow a setting where we can turn off auto-load new posts. The front page resets every time it automatically loads new posts. It can be disruptive.

My battle with r/interestingasfuck has left me grossly deformed!

Hopefully Lemmy can accommodate all the new users. Welcome!
