I went there in 2009. I was too young to appreciate the culture. Locals were busy selling tourists goods and I wasn’t even sure what to soak in at the square.

I’m using Memmy right now. All the Apollo users should fully migrate when it’s down.

Back in my day lemmy.ml was the biggest instance.

At this point he is handing over his power/resources to Putin.

I had no idea it was cross platform. I have been using it over Memmy on iOS lately.

The Israeli are stopping the Palestinians taking their own gas, but stealing would be overstepping.

Assange will definitely remain in Belmarsh prison.

You can read articles on a Google/search engine.

A Netflix documentary cannot be made from the refugees. There is nothing to dramatise unlike the sub case.

I am Australian and have always known it exclusively as the American term “ladybug”. Never heard of ladybird before.

My understandings on the Fediverse is unclear right now. Will you be able to search for posts just as in stack overflow and reddit right now?

I am theoretically switching over from Reddit to Lemmy. Finding myself spending more time on Lemmy than on Reddit. Maybe it's because I am limited to using the desktop and can't aimlessly browse Reddit on my iPhone. Of late, the only subreddits I cared for were on sports and their matchday threads and r/watches. I found myself aimlessly browsing through r/AskReddit and asking and answering pointless questions.

I subconsciously felt that this "lemmy.world" instance was for those with at least a smidgeon of programming knowledge. Otherwise the name just seems odd.

Does anyone else get subscribe pending when subscribing in another instance?

When I subscribe in a community in another instance it always says "pending " in yellow. I can comment but I am not officially subscribed to the community. E.g. subscribing to "[email protected]"

Maybe I just need to wait.

Edit: It says "subscribe pending" in yellow

Refer to title.

Does anybody knows how long it takes to sign up for the Lemmy.ml instance with an account? It would give me the green wheel and I don't know if I have to wait "x" amount of time or it's just not possible at this time.
