I read this in Grog's voice and I high key love it. The idea of him describing "surface level themes such as nationalism" is hilarious.
And the title comment is the icing on the cake.

God he was so fucking funny. It was a legit travesty when he let the mask slip and showed us he was actually a huge prick that shouldn't be supported.
I mean, it's still a place I'd tell people to go visit. The bars/restaurants are awesome, and the (not so distant) history is sobering. I found the Stasi museum hella interesting/terrifying.
I'd just mentally prep people before-hand for the, ah, "bluntness" 😂
My friend and I just assumed he could tell we were American and didn't want to serve us. We didn't stick around to ask. And he didn't tell us off or to leave or anything, but just more blatantly ignored us.
Like I said, overall still good time. Everyone else was nice and happy enough to chat/serve us (or at least appeared to be lmao)
I'm white af, but, as an American, I didn't get treated as rudely anywhere else in Germany than Berlin. Still had a great time overall in the city, but, not really in a rush to go back.
My friend and I were standing at a bar mulling over the menu, just kind of murming to one another over what drinks we wanted while we were waiting for the bartender to finish up with his other customers. It wasn't busy, but he was attending to other people. When he was finally done, he approached us and I said "Hi how are you?" with a smile. He didn't say a single word to us, just took the menus from in front of us and put them on the back shelf, and then turned away.
So we left. Our money clearly wasn't good enough there, and we spent it in another bar across the alleyway instead.
Well he needed to veto something yesterday, and it certainly wasn't going to be the bill that now fundamentally prevents Floridians from holding their elected officials accountable when they suspect ethics violations: https://flaglerlive.com/integrity-florida-veto/#gsc.tab=0
Ughhhhhh how the hell does he have a 46% approval rating?!?!? Texans really don't care that he left them to die in the snow.
I'm going to continue to remain optimistic...Allred did flip a historically red district blue and he's retained control since.
But JFC every time I start to have hope for this state, they do something that really makes me wanna throw my hands up and be like "You wanna live in unfettered Christian Nationalism? Fine. Fuck you then and you get what you want." 😮💨
Oh really? I feel like I've been getting positive news for Allred.
I am pretty sure that anyone who is advocating to not vote Biden because of his support of Israel is either:
A - A GOP troll and shouldn't be trusted in general B - Someone who feels like they're protected because they currently live in a blue state and so a lack of access will never affect them/their loved ones.
I'm a lady in Texas (not birthing age anymore @ 35 bitchessssss!) but shit is not good here for women who are birthing age/able to carry a child.
If Trump (or any Republican) is elected, the blue states won't be safe anymore either. The people suffering will be YOUR sisters, wives, mothers, cousins, aunts, etc. There won't be crossing state lines for care, even if you could technically "afford it".
Focus on protecting half the country first. Prioritize your shit. No one is going to be a 100% perfect candidate.
And before anyone comes for me, yes, I fucking hate Netanyahu and think he needs to be stopped. However, I'm also focusing on myself (and other women in America) first. Downvote me if you want, but I don't want the abortion ban to be felt anywhere else than it has been already!
Edit: Grammar
Bruh I think you've been told 1000x ad nauseum to vote Progressive in the Primaries and locals. The only place where we say to hold your nose and vote Dem is President and Governors because no one votes Progressives in the Primaries and locals.
Yeah after I posted the comment, I was reading through other people's, and someone pointed this exact difference out. This take makes full sense to me!!!
Wuthering Waves is Hella good. Technically it's an open world gacha game, but I played through all the storyline (the developers will be forever updating the story a la Genshin Impact), and I never spent a dime on it.
Also, I have spent money on Cooking Diary. However, I went about 3 months of daily play before I did, and it was more about me being impatient/telling myself "You got 3 months of daily play, you can drop the devs $4.99". I've played that game just about daily since Memorial Day 2023, and I've dropped $5.00 quarterly. There are regularly moments of infinite lives that exceed an hour or two, that it genuinely isn't necessary. I spend the money more as a "thanks for not making this ducking game contingent on microtransactions, making it good, and maintaining/update it."
