This is how I read his comment as well.
I mean we sold the Saudis weapons to bomb the Yemenis, so I'm just surprised we haven't been sending Israel weapons to bomb the Gazans.
It's really simple, I think. If you don't want to be accused of being a war criminal, don't commit war crimes.
We're focusing on him using a homophobic slur, but we're ignoring what the meeting was about: that he doesn't want gay men in the priesthood.
This makes sense. It's also a lot easier to drop a bomb on the faceless brown people half a world away. It takes real hate to beat up an unarmed person by yourself.
This is the hatred they have for Americans. Now imagine what they have directed at Palestinians.
We keep being reminded that Israel has a right to defend itself, but nobody has ever explained how killing 30,000 civilians, mostly children, helps Israel defend itself.
Don't dead open inside
This guy wasn't allowed to serve in the IDF due to his involvment with groups designated by the Israeli government as terrorists.
As bad as the IDF is, I can't even imagine how much worse the IDF would be if they let actual terrorists in its ranks.
Can we cut funding to Israel now? Claims of genocide aren't founded on bullshit.
Let's say they didn't have the vehicles. What would they arm them with?
That's like saying we'll send the Israelis bombers but if they arm them with bombs, that's on them.
