Heres one nobody knows or talks about...

Shootout 3.

When I was about 15 (20 years ago) I made my own game on "Game Maker" and me and my mates had a heap of fun on it... I uploaded it to some old forum somewhere, but long since lost the files/website and am unable to ever play it again :(

Being fair, humans now have no realistic predators and we're stripping the planet bare.....

What's the better option then?

For me its a few things.

The availability of alternative options and their price - I'm not a rich fella..

The variety/options - if I want fast food the options are 90% meat based, or they're a salad/veggie burger. If I'm hungry and in a rush, it's too convenient to find myself in a drive-through and too disinteresting to pick a vegan option while I'm there.

If I go to a restaurant the options feel like they're all either capsicum or mushroom based, neither of which I am into - or they're just something I could make at home much cheaper. Why spend $20 on a pasta while I'm at a restaurant? If I'm out eating with family, the parma or steak are just much more attractive options to me

Variety in my own home is another issue for me... Generally speaking I don't eat meat at home. I have greatly reduced my meat intake, and dairy too. I used to have meat with every lunch and dinner in some form - now I only have oat milk at home, never really stock or cook red meat, very rarely have chicken and I do have fish perhaps an average of once a week... But I'm tired of quiche, pasta and golden curry... I'm not a professional chef... I'm not great in the kitchen... I love roast broccoli with other roast veg, but really don't love zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant or capsicum so my options for vegan foods are dramatically reduced...

Ultimately, I am trying to reduce my intake but it's made more difficult by the above for me, personally.

Golden Gaytimes are brilliant

In what way?

Excel is one of the best things Microsoft has ever made, in my opinion.

I'm sorry that happened to someone you knew.

Thats awful.

I've only done it on a remote road with a huge view, so no chance of another car - but plenty of chance of animals stepping out, or even just losing control due to road surface or wind gusts etc...

Its a silly thing to do.

Huge adrenaline rush, but so very silly. These bikes are ridiculously fast.

It's not something I plan on doing again.

Once again, I'm sorry you knew someone who had such an awful end...

Yep, I've topped out my Hayabusa and I feel the same way.. Done it 4 or 5 times when I was a little younger but I don't need to die that way.

I'm so terrified that my wife will go before me...

But I also don't want to let her down by going before her and making her live her own last days/weeks/years alone....

Love is so difficult

All the commenters so far are sick... Me too.

Getting through a sinus infection that came with a side-dish of pneumonia.

I'll be ok... 4 month old, thanks entirely to my wife, is letting me sleep.. The others are with their other parents so it's been alright rest-wise...

Yet another case of an abuser being let go easy by the courts until it was almost too late.

What if he'd decided not to hire a hitman and just turned up and killed them himself?

She'd voiced her concerns, he'd sent kids to the ER, he'd threatened them with weapons - and he was still a free man.

Domestic violence needs a LOT more effort.
