Moved to kbin.run (mbin) today and installed Interstellar :)

First impressions:

  1. Glad to see an actively developed app for Kbin/Mbin! Thank you so much.
  2. Couldn't find Interstellar in the Google Play app on Android. Had to follow the URL that was posted here earlier.
  3. Nice to have posts visible in "Guest" mode, without being logged in.
  4. Logging in into my account was a smooth experience.
  5. The cards on my Galaxy S10 are big!! I have 1,5 threads visible. The thread titles and miniatures are too big for my taste. Maybe you can take inspiration from the Trunks app (for Mastodon), which has aesthetically pleasing cards and hides the boost/favorite buttons by default (until you tap the card).
  6. I can't easily switch between subscribed magazines? Swipe from left to reveal a list of subscribed magazines would be an ideal solution!

In the "Conversations" tab, I get to choose between "All", "Subscribed", "Moderated" or "Favorite".

How do you add anything to your favorites?

Also, why are some magazines (on lemmy.world and others) incomplete (e.g. @[email protected])? I get the message: "This journal is from a federated server and may be incomplete."

Can anyone explain to me why the federation is only partial and what I can do to remediate this?
