interesting, not a fan of the oversized design (seems to be a lot of android these days) but it does look nice

Why would its screenshots include Droidify? Lol

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Lol idk, but just saw that neostore is a "direct adaption of foxy-droid"

That's what I use too.

From my understanding they're basically the same app

No, someone else noted that the screenshots on F-Droid also included Droidify, idk why, but they are completely different apps.

The README also says that neostore is a "direct adaption of foxy-droid" so maybe it is a fork of foxy droid?

I've used both droidify and neostore, but I stuck with neostore as it felt more "finished".

drodify started as a fork of foxy droid and neo store is a fork of droidify. It's all connected ^tm^

Ah thanks, didn't know this.

Unsure , I know I had issues with droidify when I chooses neo store instead , but was a while back

Droid-ify is my favorite. Actually feels modern and what the official f-droid app should be instead of the archaic garbage that it is.

Yeah , f-droid devs should have taken care a bit of the UI, it feels very archaic. Droid-fly is great but for app discovery theirs no better than Neo-store.

That looks cool, uh do you know which apk to install? There's like 20 on github

This is a great little app, for sure, but it's still a bit jaggy. WIP that it is though, it does the job, for the most part. Certainly beats having to search and reinstall all apps from an actual F-droid repo. Just add all your Apps, export that DB, and you can rom-hop to your heart's content.

Foxy Droid still works though. Am I missing something?
