Hi,

I want to buy an NVMe disk for storage and games. I want a TLC drive for reliability, but maximum sequential read performance is not important. I only have PCIe Gen 3 with no plans to upgrade in the near future.

Can you comment on whether I should look at a Samsung 970 Plus, a Crucial P5, or something else?

Edit: I would want something with a DRAM cache if possible.

Hey there, I don’t have a good recommendation off the top of my head but I remember this guy (newmaxx) on Reddit who was the go-to for SSDs. I found what looks like his website. There are flowcharts and sortable excel documents which may be a good starting point. https://borecraft.com/
