Whole Food Plant Based
A place for people who want to eat more fruits and vegetables and less animal products and processed foods.
This includes adding more vegetables, fruits, beans, whole grains, nuts/seeds. While eliminating meat, dairy, eggs, and fish. It is also avoids added salt, oil and sugar as much as possible
We are not looking for perfect adherence to any one particular eating style of WFPB.
Posts should be about eating whole food plant based foods most of the time.
Recipes should not include animal products.

You are in the right place and was exactly why this place was created. I was in alllllll of the plant based nutrition places on Reddit and don't plan on going back either.
I don't plan on engaging too much on "debates" but I did just share an article about children working in slaughterhouses.
I was not the mod at any of the places on Reddit but look forward to building a community and friendships here. We all could use some extra motivation or encouragement from time to time. The world is mostly against us and it's nice to have support.
The health aspect is my main goal for following this type of eating. the weight loss, environmental benefits, and animal rights are important but not the intended focus of this community.
