MODERATORS

Has this community been advertised to people on the smashbros subreddit who may be looking to make the switch? Might be a good idea to make a post there with a link to this community and instructions on how to join.

This graphic is a good intro to how Lemmy works and how to think about it.

If anyone wants to go ahead and cross-post to the reddit sub, that might help attract more users here.

I don't know. I miss the Daily Discussion Threads though, and the pointless bickering. It was a really fun place to browse.

Right now, no. Smash bros isn't in the sub rehab website and the reddit community hasn't said anything about it.

sorry, what do you mean by the sub rehab website?

It's a website to show where subreddits splintered off to, and it's been a guide for newcomers. The r/smashbros mods didn't advocate leaving or recommend any alternatives, so it isn't a part of the list.

@Logster998 You can apply to be added to the list yourself it doesn’t have to be a reddit mod. I applied for c/rugbyunion and I was never a mod for that sub on Reddit.

I don't think most people care as much about the API changes as we do.. so it seems like these groups will stay small for now. :(
