Wasn't sure how it was gonna end but I'm satisfied with it. Overall the show was an enjoyable ride. I do hope we get more with these characters but where the story can go is beyond my smooth brain.

Suletta OPAF
Turned Eri into a keychain... Who's the big sister now?
This is not what I was promised with Gundam endings and I'm somewhat ok with it. But could really have gotten a few more episodes to tie up everything, felt rushed.
I think it could have used one more episode, but in many ways this was extremely in line with Gundam endings. Space bullshit, the ghosts of the past reach through time, love saves the world, the hero retires to a farm with their partner. Gundam has this rep for killing everyone, and yeah people get fucked up, but the general theme of the series is the transformative power of human connection. So most endings are either bittersweet or lean toward hope for a better world.
Unacceptable. The gods demand more tomato paste
Definitely rushed. Also there should have been a Gundam fight to show off Suletta + Eri sister power.
Yea the lack of any explicit action was a bit disappointing. I get the whole Data Storm Quiet Zero thing is meant to be this insane super weapon so it shouldn't be surprising it has enough power to remotely disable the big freaking laser machine that's a staple of the genre, but at the same time would've loved to see Caliburn et al absolutely shred that huge space laser to shreds (albeit that might run into the whole killing people thing).
Not sure how I feel about the ending. Oh well!
I only see one season in crunchy roll for 24 eps. Am I missing something here?
It was split into two 12 episode cours, hence the "season 2". But in reality it's just one season. I totally understand how that can be confusing.
I wish stuff like this wasn't done. Sites like anidb are even worse, splitting it into two different show entries, with the second cour listed as "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (2023)" ugh... It wreaks hell on my Plex server.
Agreed. It's needlessly convoluted at times. But over time you just learn to accept and deal with these quirks. However, I still get confused by them as well.
Agreed. I simply took what was used for the anime discussion bot and didn't make any changes to it.
Yeah I wasn't trying to call you out specifically. Just pointing out that sometimes that's the situation.
Oh ok. I was gonna be pissed thinking I watched everything and missed the second season. Thanks.
That was just... perfect... 😊
We made it safe this time everyone is happy? This is very different from the main show, but I'm only about to watch Unicorn next.
While I did enjoy the happy ending, I feel like things got solved a little too fast, especially that epilogue.
Still a very good anime. Def enjoyed the ride
spread of information thermological entropy confirmed? sounds like it's time for claude shannon to save the day.
i suppose the finale is alright end to a pretty strong rest of the season but it kinda feels like a lot was jammed in at the end (not helped with dumping all these new terms on us) that could be explored in more detail over a longer of period of time (which i guess is still possible, although the show made the point of putting "this is where the story concludes" at the end..). seeing the space assembly league use previous events as a power play and excuse to completely hunt down the benerit group and associates would've been intriguing to see play out much further. the data storm thing kinda ended up being pretty newtypey that might be explorable more (or at least explained more, especially with things dissolving and the whole entropy thing... but that also may be treading on previously explored territory, just with a different name). also there's a lot of potential for themes to explore, like the whole data storm thing and connecting things together (DSoT, data storm of things?) and there's that whole thing about gund-arm tech being used for weaponry vs medical uses that kinda does play a plot point (petra got new legs!) but also kinda feels unexplored, at least in terms of the process behind-the-scenes and actually getting to that point.
I can't believe they gave us the Mass Effect 3 ending again.
Memeing aside, I thought it was okay. Things turned out a bit too fine for my tastes, but maybe that's cause I got a taste for blood from previous Gundam series.
