Sweet, earth will have it's own Dyson sphere.
The thing I want to know about this is what the efficiencies are like.
I mean they only went a foot or so, but how much power? What was the loss, did it meet expectations? Inverse square law is a butch, is that going to cause issues here?
What about atmospheric conditions?
So many questions, almost no details. :(
