At this point I'm convinced that Bethesda is just memeing on itself, lol.
Like, during the showcase Todd even said "See that moon? You can go there!", like this kind of statement didn't get memed to death, like 10 years ago :D

I think some of the magic is taken away when you think about how ground to space isn't seamless. I wasn't really expecting it to be, but back in the day when they pointed to a mountaintop in Skyrim and said the same thing, it was cool to think about actually walking straight to it rather than having to go through a series of cutscenes to get there.
Star Citizen is having a 2 day con show this 28th. Maybe they're closer to realising something?
Yeah, I definitely think that was deliberate. I like how self-aware Bethesda are when it comes to stuff like this.
I say this as someone who considers Bethesda to be among their fav game devs:
lmao that's cap 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
Why do these companies feel the need to say things like this, it always comes back to bite them in the ass. Nobody will be surprised by bugs in starfield so they should shut up about it.
Because they want to move pre-orders. The whole 45 minute direct was a massive ad campaign to get people to start buying it from now. And it's working, right now it's the #1 seller on Steam.
It's working its pull on me. I am desperately arguing with myself here. Like, i know i will buy it week 1 in ANY CASE. So why not pre-order? Just this once.
Don't do it mate, the game could be broken on release. Wait for reviews at least, it's not like the game will be in limited supply.
I have gamepass so it is what it is
But why pre-order it? Why is the question why not?
So i can play it sooner. Experience all that crqxy shit. Bugs and all
Pre-ordering doesn't allow you to play it sooner (in any reasonable meaning of that). You can still purchase it as soon as it's out. It's not limited. All that pre-ordering does is takes the money out of your wallet and puts it in theirs while you wait.
Maybe pre-ordering you can pre-load, but that's not that significant usually, if it even pre-loads at all and isn't just dummy data.
Fax, no printer
I'll believe it when I see it.
This! Ofc they are going to say this…
We all know this is a pipe dream, but to be honest - I'm usually fine with the majority of Bethesda game bugs - except corrupt game saves. Say no to corrupt game saves.
Fallout 4 and Skyrim both had bugs with their main quests on launch that prevented you from progressing. So Corrupt saves are the least of your worries.
I feel like with the delays and MS, I'm ready to trust this statement a little more than before. But I'm still ready for a cesspool of bugs nonetheless, the bar wasn't really high haha
I don’t know how I’ve gotten so lucky, but I’ve hardly ever experienced the bugs in Bethesda games. Every now and then I’ll get an infinite loading screen, but that’s mostly it.
Within the first 20 minutes of playing on launch day, I was admiring the scenery and a mammoth, in the distance, slid straight upwards. Like a helicopter taking off.
I had a corrupted save back on oblivion on the xbox 360 - 250 hours gone!
Skyrim I never really had many bugs either, I found a way to kill Lydia and then make her moonwalk as an undead zombie but it was quite a smooth game. Until I started adding mods!
Omg losing a save file like that is awful, I’m sorry that happened! But also lol to moonwalking zombie Lydia.
I'm so paranoid of this that I always maintain 10 rotating saves for Bethesda RPGs.
Just because they at least did Q&A, means not much.
Fewest known bugs.
