I saw a video of someone playing Bach's cello suite on bass and loved it, its very relaxing to play and a good warmup. Wondering if anyone else knew of any good classical lines to play on bass

They're all pretty cool, tbh. The greats literally invented the bass-line. However the (upright) bass itself is relatively modern (1800's?), thus many of these lines were for keyboard/organ. IMO, it makes the parts feel virtuosic. Plus the non-meteonome feel and key modulations. No backbeat to groove, lol

I got Beethoven check'd on a livestream a month ago, taking user submissions. It was like getting caught with your pants down-- Or like getting called to sing the chromatic scale in front of class. It made me want to dive into more classical lines, too. Its all vocabulary! :]
