You mean the Downloads folder? Who downloads to their desktop?

yeah bit of a typo - i guess i meant 'when programs output' somewhere random, like when you're converting a file

I hate games the fill up my Documents folder.

My Documents and Documents folders have had ironic existences fot many Windows releases. I've never used them because it's pointless to try.

Agreed. I have another folder I call Archive to store my files. My Documents is an unusable data ghetto.

Why should downloads go to your desktop? Downloads should go to the downloads folder or if the content is only usable by the program then it should go to it's respective AppData.

I thought I lost weeks of research until I had to click the checkbox to SHOW HIDDEN FILES. Bitch, did I tell you to hide that spider data?!
