The Hazardous EnVironment suit was secretly battle armor. The "hazardous" environments it tends to protect you from is usually filled with bullets.

Cool, but where is the amunition monitoring system located, and even more interesting, where is the hud located.

Remember, that Freeman, never wore a helmet during the events of Black Mesa.

Lol, Gore-tex isn't real. It's just teflon, and they stopped using the patent decades ago. It's just a brand name.

Downvotes from people who don't know: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGEzJJYiROk

TL;DW: the Gore-Tex expanded PTFE (expanded teflon) patent was made in 1978. The patent expired in 1998. 25 years ago. Anyone can make it now, without using the Gore-Tex brand. However, there are numerous issues with teflon - particularly in a moving fabric. You don't want to break teflon off your frying pan and eat it, or for teflon to get into the environment (the place that most people wearing Gore-Tex would go). So instead, Gore-Tex switched to the more conventional materials that other manufacturers were using to compete with Gore-Tex.

Gore-Tex is now just a brand name. They don't offer anything but a higher price tag.

Yeah, but showing Gore-Tex as some futuristic material is straight out of the 90s. There was a whole Seinfeld episode making fun of it.
