Hi!! Mlem hasnβt implemented search or any profile picture/changes yet. Itβs a super early beta! Lemmy does support both though but you have to do it through the website. Iβve just been using lemmy.blahaj.zone through Safari and it works pretty well until Mlem catches up :)

Searching is a little bit weird on here. If you have an account on any instance (essentially the equivalent to a site) then you should be able to search for any other instance provided it has interacted with yours at least once. As for PFPs, I have no idea how they work, or if they do lol.

mlem is pretty barebones right now, development is moving pretty quick but theres still a bunch of core features lacking. theres no way to set your pfp in-app as of right now, youll have to go to your settings on the web client. To search, tap the "Subscribed"/"All" text at the top, and then tap "Community...". Right now its only a community search, though.
