I have tinnitus.
A Community for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
A safe space giving those who are hard of hearing (and deaf!) the chance to discuss new technologies, have fun discussions, tell personal stories from your HOH experiences and most of all be able to make friends and become a part of a community.
Have you found anything that helps?
For me, it's a matter of training my brain to ignore it. I can go hours without noticing it, but now that we are talking about it, I can hear a constant high frequency pulsing.
Eventually I will get distracted, stop caring that i have it, and I won't notice it any more.
How did you trian your brain? Were there any techniques you used? I have a Tinnitus mask but don't like wearing it all the time.

I went through something like this. A sound machine helped a lot. I also have a Bluetooth wrap for sleeping.
Will take a look, thank you. :)

Yep. It appeared out of nowhere 25 years ago and I spent a whole week in the hospital. It never went away and I just got used to it
