Better to have no training than the kind of training we give them here in the US. Here, they are literally taught to shoot to kill because everybody is a threat ("Killology").
Call me crazy, but I think maybe all of our police forces should be more like the UK's. Why the hell do you need a gun for a traffic stop? For that 0.5% chance the person might be dangerous? Ridiculous.
